Sunday, 2nd December: UAE National Day fireworks
Expect a stunning display of fireworks across the city to celebrate the UAE’s 47th National Day. Dubai Festival City will host fireworks at its promenade at 8 pm and 10 pm. Whereas, Meraas’ La Mer is hosting fireworks from 9 pm onwards, followed by The Beach, JBR hosting fireworks from 8 pm next to Roxy Cinemas and Fahidi’s historic Al Seef area, hosting fireworks from 8:30 pm.

Monday, 3rd December: Hip-Hop with Frank at Toy Room Dubai
Monday night translates to Hip-Hop with Frank at Toy Room Dubai. Expect a set of Hip-Hop, R&B, Baseline, Commercial and classics by their resident DJs. You can also join their naughty party animal, Frank with his ladies. For reservations, contact 052 463 3338 or email reservations@toyroomdxb.com

Tuesday, 4th December: OT Genasis live at 1Oak
Catch OT Genasis perform his love for the Coco at 1Oak this Tuesday. The 31-year-old rapper rose to fame with the meme-material song, peaking at No. 5 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Since then, he’s released three mixtapes, including collaborations with rappers like Snoop Dogg and Chris Brown. For reservations, contact 052 881 8888.
Wednesday, 5th December: Tropicana 80’s & 90’s Pool Party & BBQ at Barasti
It’s a tropical state of mind every Wednesday at Barasti beach bar, hosting a free flow BBQ brunch and house beverages, alongside ‘80s and ‘90s music to keep you grooving throughout the night. Lads enter for Dhs 205 and ladies enter for Dhs 105, inclusive of pool access. Reservations aren’t needed.
Thursday, 6th December-Saturday, 8th December: Sole DXB
Now in its seventh edition, Sole DXB will be host to live music, street-wear pop-ups, film screenings and workshop for three days. This year’s headliners are old-school rap star Nas, US rapper Roxanne Shanti, R&B duo Lion Babe and UK rapper Giggs. Tickets are priced between Dhs 195-295. Check the entire schedule here.

Friday, 7th December-Saturday, 8th December: du Tough Mudder
Athletes and thrill seekers, this one’s for you. The du Tough Mudder is back for its third edition with an action-packed line-up of 26 obstacles, meaning more mud and more adrenaline. The event will take place at Hamdan Sports Complex, from 7th-8th December. Tickets are priced between Dhs 495-605.

Saturday, 8th December: Emirati shorts at Cinema Akil
Dubai’s indie cinema hub, Cinema Akil will be screening five short films produced by award-winning Emirati talents this Saturday. These films are of themes ranging from science fiction to dark genre and fiction. Tickets cost Dhs 50 and are available at their box office. Check their website to stay updated with the schedule.
