Tuesday, 2nd April: Capharnaüm screening at Cinema Akil

Cannes Jury Prize winner ‘Capharnaüm’ hits the screens at Dubai’s indie cinema hub, Cinema Akil this Tuesday. It’s based on a 12-year-old’s struggles, being a victim of child neglect. The film was a contender at the Palme d’Or awards, and a nominee for the ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ at the Oscars and Golden Globes this year. Tickets cost Dhs 50.

Over the weekend, Yas Marina Circuit will play host to the Middle East’s inaugural FIA World Rallycross, hosting adrenaline-fueled cross surface motor racing among top rally drivers. Attendees can expect fast-paced action, with cars speeding from 0-100 km/h in less than two seconds, drifting tight turns on the apex, performing exhilarating jumps and much more. Friday, 5th April: Paradise at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE

Jamie Jones’ Ibiza party series, Paradise makes a touch down at Blue Marlin this Friday, bringing what’s widely regarded as the new sound of house.
