Manchester United star Paul Pogba returns to
Dubai again, soaking up the sun for warm-weather training as he continues to
recover from his foot injury.
Foot injury after match versus Southampton
Pogba sustained an injury during a game versus Southampton last August. Manchester United issued a statement claiming the 26-year-old midfielder will have to “go for a period of further rest and conservative treatment for the foot injury.”
Recovery and warm weather training in Dubai
Pogba took to Instagram, sharing a video of him breaking a sweat on an AirBike. With his session taking place on a hotel rooftop against Dubai’s impressive skyline, the injured player commented on the high temperatures:
“They say hard work pays off, what about hard work in the heat? Let’s see. Loving the view though.. Allah always in control.”
It’s no secret that Pogba is a familiar face in Dubai. From being served by Nusret Gökçe aka ‘Saltbae’ at his steakhouse, Nusr-et to hanging out with Rashid Behlasa and partying at a music festival in town, the FIFA World Cup winner has seen it all.
We last saw him pop up in the Emirate back in May and June, joining the Manchester United squad for warm-weather training. While in the UAE, he took the opportunity to visit the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque with his family. Well, it has to be done!
