Rapper Post Malone is the final international headlining act confirmed to perform at Abu Dhabi’s Formula One Grand Prix on Thursday, 22nd November.

Massive success on Billboard charts

Chart-topping hits like ‘Rockstar,’ ‘Congratulations’ and ‘Psycho’ have seen Post Malone rise the ranks, becoming one of the biggest rappers in the rap game today, with a record of 461,000 sales from his current album ‘Beerbongs and Bentleys.’ His previous album, ‘Stoney’ earned enormous success with 1.4 million unit sales, surpassing Michael Jackson’s 1982 album ‘Thriller’ on Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart’s top 10 in August.

Exclusive lineup this edition

Big ups to Flash Entertainment for the A-list line up this year, including R&B megastar The Weeknd, rock icons Guns N’ Roses and soul sensation Sam Smith. The Yasalam after-race concerts will kick off on Thursday, 22nd November with Post Malone, followed by The Weeknd performing on Friday, 23rd November, Sam Smith performing on Saturday, 24th November and Guns N’ Roses ending the event on Sunday, 25th November.

Special edition for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix established itself as marking the end of the Formula One season every year and this edition will be a special one, being the tenth edition. Since the inaugural edition in 2009, racing legends Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel both won the title thrice, followed by Valtteri Bottas, Kimi Raikkonen and Nico Rosberg winning one title each.

Rich history of A-List headliners

Yaslam After-Race Concerts are no stranger to A-listers, hosting mainstream artists like Kanye West, Britney Spears, Eminem, Beyonce, Linkin Park, Aerosmith and Jay Z at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Last year’s edition was headlined by Calvin Harris, P!nk and J Cole, who filled in for Kendrick Lamar after backed out due to “personal reasons.”
