Zipline temporarily closed

Ras Al Khaimah‘s zipline has been closed due to dangerous weather conditions. The tourist spot is a popular one among thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies, for its record as the world’s longest zipline (2.83 km). The zipline takes riders on a journey looking over the emirate’s wadis, beaches and deserts.

Drivers warned

UAE’s National Center of Meteorology advises people not to head to Jebel Jais. Videos show the roads at the mountain peak as flooded and towering clouds formations making the roads unclear. RAK Police blocked roads leading towards the mountain. Warnings issued on Fujairah’s Wadi Al Seyer, Al Khalibiya and Tibaa too.
