Three bridges built by Roads and Transport Authority(RTA) connected to roads near Airport Street will open on Friday, 27th April making it easier for drivers to reach Dubai Airports.
Two streets and one venue will be connected by bridges
Casablanca Street, the road after crossing Garhoud bridge, will be connected by Airport Street through a single lane bridge while Nad Al Hammar Street, next to Bin Sougat Centre in Rashidiya, will be connected by a two lane bridge. Whereas, Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects, known as the former location of the Dubai Airshow, will be connected be linked by a bridge too.

Marrakech street link to Airport Street will complete Airport Improvement Project
By July, Marrakech Street will be connected to Airport Street by a three lane bridge along with one lane connecting directly to Terminal 3. Its completion will also mark the completion of the Airport Improvement Project, which consists of completing the construction of two bridges on the Rashidiya junction along with connecting Airport Street to Casablanca street and Nad Al Hammar Street.
Dubai Airports are expected to receive 92 million visitors by 2020
Last year, according to Dubai Airports’ website, they received 88.2 million visitors, up from 83.6 million visitors in 2016 followed by 78 million visitors in 2015. Looking at the growing rate of visitors, Dubai Airports is expecting to receive 92 million visitors by 2020 and the opening of these bridges will lead to reduced congestion, making it more convinent for drivers.
