Red Bull heir and wanted Interpol suspect spotted in Dubai

Reports are circulating that Vorayuth “Boss” Yoovidhya, heir to the huge Red Bull fortune and a wanted man by Interpol, has been seen in Dubai.

‘Boss’ is wanted by Thai Police after he allegedly killed a police officer in 2012 when he drove his Ferrari through Bangkok’s Thong Lo area. He’s then alleged to have run over a police officer, dragging him along the street.

‘Boss’ failed to appear in court several times on drug charges and reckless driving. He then fled Thailand in 2017 on a private jet to Singapore. And it’s now been reported in Thai media that the Red Bull heir has been hiding out in Dubai.

And if that’s true, Interpol could well be on their way here to retrieve him after a Red Notice was issued several weeks ago.

“We want to confirm with the local authorities whether he is in the UAE or not. If he is, we will coordinate with them to extradite him to Thailand so he can face trial,” said a spokesperson for the Royal Thai Police.

Vorayuth is the grandson of Red Bull’s co-founder Chaleo Yoovidhya. And with Red Bull currently valued at around $20 billion, Boss’ is potentially very rich. But it seems there are a lot of questions he needs to face first.
