Renew Your Emirates ID And Visa From Home With New GDRFA App

At last, there’s a quicker way to renew your residence visa and Emirates ID, thanks to the new app introduced by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).

Visa and Emirates ID renewal from home

Without the hassle of visiting typing centres and waiting in cues at authorities, the self-titled GDRFA app offers all-in-one services for visa-related processes. Residents are required to download the app, fill in the application form and upload necessary documents as required. Plus, medical results will be available on the user’s profile after completing the check-up, since the app is synced with the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship.

Chatroom feature for assistance

There’s a chatroom feature as well, to assist users with filling forms, process complaints, suggestions and other enquiries. Residents can also refer to the app for tracking their visa status and validity, while citizens can use the app to request a new passport or renew it. Users are urged to upload clear copies of their visa and passport while filling forms.

Visit visa renewal for Dhs500

It’s also worth mentioning the app can be used for renewing three-month visit visas without exiting the country. Visitors in the UAE can renew the visa through the app, which will cost Dhs500. Click here to download the app via Google Play store and here to download the app via the App Store.
