From Super Mario to Jenga to Nintendo’s Super Famicom console, The House Party Bar was the ultimate time travel to what high school parties were like!
Celeb and movie posters on the wall looked so cool again!
Fandom was so different back then, it was mesmerizing to how the bar had got film posters of ‘Goodfellas’, ‘Back To The Future’ and ‘The Terminator’ stuck up on the wall along with posters of bands and artists like Nirvana, Eminem and Michael Jackson. Kudos to the décor team to make pop culture icons back then feel once again relevant!
Playing on arcade games felt like centuries ago
No matter how old arcade games get, it always relives the teenager inside us! The House Party Bar had plenty of gaming options around, like playing Pacman on the arcade games and Super Mario Kart on the Nintendo Super Famicom console. They even had a table just for Jenga set up with a couple of bean bags around.
Music was on point!
Remember when pop music ruled the world before EDM came in? Thanks to DJ Flipp’ Side, their DJ on board for the night, played the coolest ’90s tunes, from Notorious BIG, Will Smith, 2Pac and all the iconic artists. The combination of old-school bangers with ’90s games with was the perfect combination to a crazy night out at The House Party Bar.
But the best part- it was old school everything
Not for a single moment did it feel like it was 2018! The ambience, the music, the games and the décor were all totally old school and they had vintage TVs across the bar playing ’90s classics like ‘American Pie’ and ‘Leon: The Professional’. Plus, they even a had a ball pit with giant teddy bears around along with foosball tables.
