Rita Ora And Disclosure Headlining Wake Up Call Festival In Dubai This October

W Dubai – The Palm is all set to play host to British pop sensation Rita Ora and dance music duo Disclosure at the ‘Wake Up Call’ festival, from Thursday, 10th to Saturday, 12th October.

Wake Up Call Festival at W Dubai-The Palm

Unlike the typical festival vibe, W Dubai is bringing some fresh new concepts to the inaugural edition of ‘Wake Up Call.’ Instead of fast food stalls, the organizers are planning to rope in celebrity chef restaurants like Torno Subito and Akira Back for a massive brunch.

They’re also introducing a fitness concept, ‘Detox Detox Repeat.’

“Festival goers don’t necessarily want to sleep in a field, line-up for a portable toilet or sample the standard festival fast food. Our guests want all the playful luxuries of a W Hotel stay whilst they enjoy incredible artists and an authentic festival vibe. WAKE UP CALL offers just that.”

Rita Ora back in Dubai

After releasing several smash hits in 2019 like “Ritual,” “Only Want You,” “Carry On” and “New Look,” it doesn’t look like Rita Ora has any plans to slowing down. The North Londoner has been dropping pop anthems since the turn of the decade, including early tracks like “Anywhere,” “Let You Love Me,” “Your Song” and “Lonely Together.”

Let loose to Disclosure and Rüfüs Du Sol

Crafting hits like “Omen” “Magnets” and “Moonlight,” Disclosure are a force to be reckoned with on the global dance scene. Expect to be captivated by their fusion of dance music genres.

Full disclosure (fully pun intended), we’re big fans their collab with Sam Smith, “Latch.”

Sydney-bred dance trio Rüfüs Du Sol rose to prominence through songs like “No Place,” “Underwater” and “Innerbloom.” They’re a regular fixture at festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza.

International DJ line-up

W Dubai The Palm is bringing some of the hottest names from the international DJ circuit. The line-up includes Parisian DJ Mercer, Canadian dance duo Bob Moses, Iconic Warp mainstay Nightmares on Wax and German producer, Roosevelt.
