Saudi Arabia will host one of the most anticipated rematches in boxing history in a potential GBP 70 Million (USD 85 Million) bout between Andy Ruiz Jr (33-1, 22 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (22-1, 21 KOs) this December.

Saudi Arabia to host USD $85 Million rematch
Both Ruiz Jr and Joshua’s promoters were battling for the rematch to take place in their home countries, Mexico or UK.
However, it’s been confirmed, an offer from Saudi Arabia to host the fight has proven too attractive. This also serves as neutral territory for the fighters.
The rematch is to take place on 7th December.

Last month, Saudi Arabia played host to a fight between Amir Khan and Billy Dib. 32-year-old Khan landed a combination of punches to secure a knockout victory in the fourth round, earning him £7 million (AED31.2m)
