See the Dubai sky as never before with this new stargazing night

It’s time to look up at night in Dubai as the View on the Palm is running a series of stargazing nights during August.

Both Jupiter and Saturn will be out in force this month due to a yearly event called ‘Opposition.’ Which means you’ll easily be able to see them with the naked eye from the Palm viewing platform.

To capitalise on the twinkling planets, The View is running several astrology-themed events this month.

And as you’ll be on the 52nd floor of the Palm Tower with 360-degree views of the sky – and Dubai’s landmarks – it’s about the best view in town.

As mentioned, the extra special planet-spotting is all thanks to the Opposition. This occurs when the earth is between the sun and the planets and means we’ll get ace views of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

If you want to go stargazing in Dubai, the View is running a special event today on August 2 from 8-10 pm. Or you can head down on August 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28 from 8.30-10 pm.

Tickets cost AED125 for adults and AED95 for children.
