New ‘Zero 6’ mall at University City in Sharjah has opened its doors and is a hub for entertainment, dining and shopping, appealing to the young generation in the city.
Construction of ‘Zero 6’ has cost nearly Dhs 300 million
Spanning across 53,000 square metres, the project cost less than Dhs 300 million, according to a report by ‘Gulf News’. The enormous area is inclusive of 37,00 square meters and 16,000 square meters are allotted for shops and areas open to leasing. The team behind the mall are also working on the design for another ‘Zero 6’ mall in the city.
Film goers and fans in Sharjah will enjoy a new level of experience in watching films as the mall has built the largest IMAX screen in the country. The cinema has three classes of tickets, starting with Deluxe Class, Club Class and the VIP Star Class. The IMAX cinema was built in partnership b Sharjah Cinema Company, Xclusive Cinema Holding of Lebanon and the Aleg Group.
Several dining options are available at the mall
Foodies and those craving for a gastronomical experience can look out for the f&b brands present at the mall. They’ve got famous brands like Wagamama, Godiva and the UAE based dessert spot Dip n’ Dip. Besides, visitors at the mall can look forward to mall’s youthful themed architecture and enjoy the entertainment facilities.
Next year, the completion of the Dhs 1 billion worth Tidal Mall is expected to be completed, with a gigantic area of 2.2 million square feet and it will be linked to a hotel. Alongside, Nakheel will be expanding operations to Sharjah for the first time after the completion of a community mall at Al Rahmaniya, costing up to Dhs 75 million.
