Six Sharjah siblings orphaned after parents died from Covid-19 get housing and school fees paid

Six children in Sharjah who lost their parents 23 days apart to Covid-19 have been told they will get their housing and school fees paid for.

The 57-year-old father died this week of Covid-19 in Sharjah, just 23 days after his wife died, leaving the Sudanese family with no parents.

All six children, aged between kindergarten and Year 10, are now living with the father’s nephew in Ajman.

And now the Dar Al Ber Society has confirmed that they’re going to pay all housing and schooling expenses for the six orphaned children. Which absolutely takes our breath away.

In total, the charity organisation has taken in over 1,000 orphaned children in the first quarter of this year. And globally, they’ve helped 21,000 orphans from 26 countries.

And you can donate through their website here.

And there’s more amazing charity work being done over in Dubai. Dubai painter Sacha Jafri is creating the world’s largest canvas painting. Which will then be auctioned off for charity.
