While the brave (and foolish) are still running outside this summer, you can now get your running fix at Ski Dubai.
DXB Snow run is taking place on August 14 and will be the world’s first summer snow-running competition. And the first in the desert. Obviously.
The 3km run is open to men and women aged 18-62 and is open to tourists and residents alike. There are only 300 slots open for the run, so sign up for tickets (AED189) from here quick!
The race will include five loops of Ski Dubai in -4 degrees. Which honestly does sound appealing when temperatures are creeping up to 50 degrees outside!

After a very quiet start to the year due to the Coronavirus pandemic, sport is slowly starting to return to Dubai.
And it’s just been confirmed that the UAE is going to host this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) in Dubai this September.
The IPL is one of the largest cricketing events in the world. Ane of the biggest sporting events with a TV audience of billions.
The original event was postponed in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic. And with India experiencing a nationwide surge in infections, they’ve had to look for other venues to host the event.
