We know we know – you’re out there hustling every day to make ends meet and some people can just drop AED111 million on a brand new Dubai villa.
The world is crazy. But at least there’s a tell-all video so you can imagine it’s you that actually bought the dream Palm Jumeirah villa.
The new custom-built villa called One100Palm has been bought by a Swiss family who live in Monaco, which sounds about right. The family have decided to keep the home as a luxury rental business.
The three-floor Dubai villa – although let’s be honest, calling it a villa is a bit of a disservice – has 5 VIP bedroom suites, three cinema lounges and a rooftop cinema. Oh, and an infinity glass Jacuzzi with a pop-up TV. Because who doesn’t have a pop-up TV in their Jacuzzi, right?
The interior is pretty special, with furniture by Bentley & Minotti and the decor designed by Louis Vuitton & Hermes.
And it’s gone to a good home, according to Leigh Borg, managing director at Luxhabitat Sotheby’s International Realty.
“Due to the ‘wow factor’ of the villa and the video receiving over a million views, you would get many people wanting to see the villa in person. However, only a small percentage of the clients had the actual budget, so we had to shield the villa from this, carrying out the necessary due diligence on clients visiting.”
