It’s official, the wildly anticipated trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’ is out and it looks like the fiercest installment yet, marking the end of the four-decade-long saga.

Darth Sidious returns for final saga
Earlier, Disney confirmed bringing Sith lord Darth Sidious back to the universe at the D23 Expo, and yes, he is set to appear in the final film! Despite no face reveal, we hear him say, “Long have I waited,” at 0:55, recognisable by that same voice from ‘Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.’
Kylo Ren and Rey team up to overthrow the Empire?
Sure, Lucasfilm doesn’t like to reveal much of the storyline in its trailers, but the biggest takeaway from the trailer we’ve learnt is that Kylo Ren is joining forces with Rey in a bid to defeat the Galactic Senate.
First off, we hear Rey saying, “People keep telling me they know me. No one does” at 0:39, to which Kylo Ren claims, “I do.”
At 1:02, Emperor Palpatine hints at their alliance by saying “Your coming together is your undoing.”
It doesn’t get any more evident than at 1:51 when the trailer shows a glimpse of the duo smashing what appears to be Darth Vader’s helmet.

Princess Leia and Lando make a return for final installment
Two of the franchise’s most iconic and beloved characters, Princess Leia and Lando will make an appearance in the ultimate film. Leia is seen in quite an emotional moment in the trailer, hugging Rey.
What’s more, even though the prequel, ‘The Last Jedi’ showed Luke Skywalker pass away after confronting Kylo Ren, we hear him say the iconic phrase, “The force will be with you.”
Among other famous characters, making a return are C-3PO, R2D2, BB8 and Finn.
‘Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’ is set to be released on Thursday, 19th December in the UAE.
