Stranger Things Season 4, Netflix Gives Us a Little Tease!

Netflix released a cheeky little teaser today about the upcoming season of Stranger Things. We haven’t been given a release date but as Season 3 came out earlier this year, it’s expected that Season 4 will grace our screens next year.

We’re not in Hawkins anymore

Yep, that’s literally all the Duffer brothers gave us! Only a heads up that the Emmy nominated, sci-fi horrow show, will finally venture outside of Hawkins, Indiana.

Fans of the nostalgic series, set in the 80’s, will have to keep on desperately Googling, “Did Hopper die?” as the teaser gave no indication on the big question.

Since season 3 ended, there have been plenty of theories on the death of Hopper, whose body was never shown in his final scenes. However, in the finale of season 3, we were shown a prison, supposedly in Russia, where a demogorgan was caged. Before the monster was revealed, we heard two guards discussing who would be its next victim. A single line of translation appeared: “Not the American.” And boom! We were left wondering whether our favourite American police chief, Jim Hopper might have survived the blast that was meant to have killed him.

Looks like we’re going to have to continue to wait patiently to find out more on that, as the Duffer brother’s are not giving anything away!

For now, let us remind you of the best of Chief Jim Hopper:

Future Duffer brothers shows

Aside from the little snippet they gave us about ST4, the creative series producers revealed there will be new projects in the pipeline with Netflix.

“We are absolutely thrilled to continue our relationship with Netflix. We can’t wait to tell many more stories together — beginning, of course, with a return trip to Hawkins!”

The Duffer Brothers

Netflix Chief Content Officer, Ted Sarandos, expressed his excitement at the future collaborations to come with the Duffer brothers.

“The Duffer brothers have captivated viewers around the world with Stranger Things and we’re thrilled to expand our relationship with them to bring their vivid imaginations to other film and series projects our members will love. We can’t wait to see what the Duffer brothers have in store when they step outside the world of The Upside Down.”

If Stranger Things is anything to go by, we’re hopeful that we won’t be disappointed with whatever the brothers think up next. In the meantime, we’re looking forward to the upcoming Breaking Bad movie, El Comino.
