They’re the words we all hate to read – but we can confirm that summer is coming with temperatures in Dubai coming close to 40 degrees this week.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) in the UAE has released a weather report for the country warning that temperatures could soar to 38 degrees.
Temperatures are set to rise during the week rising to a high of 38 degrees on Saturday. So book in for your pool-side session in advance!
Summer officially starts on June 21 in Dubai. But as long-term residents will know, the mercury starts rising in April and May. Thankfully, the early summer is normally a dry heat. It’s the later summer humidity that turns it into a properly hot and swampy mess. Bleurgh!
The NCMS also issued a rough sea warning for today. So be careful if you’re lucky enough to be out on a boat today dodging the heat!
The world’s highest infinity pool is now in Dubai and it looks incredible
If you do want to cool down, we definitely recommend a dip in the Address Beach Resort infinity pool, now officially the highest in the world.
Located on the 77th floor and a lofty 294m above the beach, the stunning 75m-long infinity pool looks out across Bluewater Island, Dubai Marina and virtually every other landmark in the region.
And the Address Beach Resort infinity pool now earned itself a world record as the “highest outdoor infinity pool in a building”.
