Fresh off the success of its inaugural edition last month, The Grid is returning with an ensemble of top DJs from around the world on Thursday, 29th August.
The Grid returning after a massive debut
The inaugural edition saw thousands of revellers get down to Sebastian Mullaert, James Zabiela, Teenage Mutants, homegrown DJ Joséphine de Retour and MadLou, the man behind the nightlife concept, taking over the huge 50,000 sq. ft warehouse.
The upcoming edition promises to be bigger than before. Check out our review to find out what the experience was like.
Second edition line-up revealed
For the upcoming edition, The Grid is all set to host a great line-up of DJs from evening until the wee hours of the night. First up is Hoolz, a driving force in Dubai’s electronic music scene. The Beirut-born DJ rose to prominence with gigs at popular clubs and nightlife spots in town and more recently, he released his debut three-track EP, onNon.
Next up is a set by The Grid’s founder, MadLou and electronic music maestro Henry Saiz follows suit. The Madrid native DJ burst on the scene through releases on labels from his home country until he moved to the UK to work with the legendary John Digweed. He’s also a regular fixture on the festival circuit, having performed at Sónar, Creamfields and Ultra Miami.
If you’re a fan of techno, expect to be captivated by Noir’s set. The Danish DJ is renowned his ‘80s-inspired house, techno and acid tunes. His works have been applauded by some of the best in the business like Carl Cox and Roger Sanchez.
Plus, Nick Warren will take the stage at The Grid with a set of progressive house. A superstar DJ in his own right, Warren has been a mainstay on the circuit for more than two decades, driving percussion and soaring musicality across the party map of the world.
