Dubai is one of the most stylish cities in the world so it’s only right that it should have some of the most stylish fashion labels around including the homegrown Palms and Roses brand.
The Dubai-based brand has already become an essential for every wardrobe.
Aimed at the mid-priced but affordable casual wear market, Palms and Roses have already released several themed collections, carrying the brand philosophy of positivity in their styling.
We caught up with founder Bhupesh Khosla to find out more.
As you might have noticed, the name has a definite Dubai ring to it. And according to founder Bhupesh Khosla, the name goes even deeper into his history.
‘I wanted our name and logo to represent both places where I was born, the red rose of Lancashire, and where I had spent my childhood under the Palm Trees of the UAE!’
The brand started life in November 2017 but it was during the recent pandemic that Bhupesh made the fashion label his focus.
‘I realized that the market here was either very cheap or very expensive. I knew we could give up to date designs using top end quality fabrics and finishing without the customer being too out of pocket. We aim to inspire the youth of today by wearing fashionable streetwear while also promoting our message of positivity.’
They have some seriously stylish looks
Blending high quality streetwear with upmarket designs, Palms and Roses has gained a strong following. And after launching as a men’s label, they’ve branched out into streetwear that appeals to everyone.
“Having done my research into designing and manufacturing, I took Monjee Khider (MJ) on to help me launch our first range.”
“MJ and I are currently working on our next streetwear range, which is called the Jungle Collection. It will have a hint of wildlife and nature in its design while also using natural and sustainable fabrics where we can.”
“Until now, we have concentrated on selling online but have collaborated with Dapper Beasts, who have a shop based in Tameem House in Barsha Heights, where they will be stocking our collections.”
They have a message
Bhupesh neatly sums up his immediate ambition
“We want to continue to build the cult following Palms And Roses has gained in such a short space of time by giving the boys and girls of today attire that they can take pride in wearing.”
