Tom Cruise finishes filming Mission Impossible in Abu Dhabi after trip to the Louvre

Tom Cruise has wrapped up filming for Mission Impossible 7 in Abu Dhabi including a trip to the Abu Dhabi Louvre.

The film’s director Christopher McQuarrie was quick to praise the UAE, thanking the country for its ‘Grace and graciousness, magic and majesty, hospitality and hope.’

And the legion of Tom Cruise fans were out in force across Abu Dhabi, tracking his every move.

Here he is below being photographed with a fan outside the Louvre.

And here’s the director McQuarrie again heavily hinting that the Abu Dhabi Louvre is likely to be a key part of the new film.

Could there be a high-stakes art world-heist in the latest film?

The six-day shoot across Abu Dhabi went according to plan. And it also gave Tom Cruise a bit of time off to enjoy and see the sights. Including catching up with Ahmad Al Shaikh, director of Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI).

Next time you’re in town Tom, give the DubaiLAD tea a holla – we’ll show you the best shawarma joints in town!

The film has finished shooting now with work heading to London where the film will be finished.

And early reports indicate we could see Abu Dhabi on the big screen in the film at the end of this year!
