With a five-day weekend coming up, the UAE has announced a series of National Day rules including details on family gatherings and public places.
Family gatherings must be for no more than 20 people. And all guidelines must be followed at all times.
These include wearing a mask over your mouth and nose and keeping a 2m distance at all times.
They’ve also suggested staying away from crowded places if possible. And if you are in a public place, to maintain your 2m distance at all times.
Enjoy your National Day celebrations and make sure to follow the rules!
Will it rain at the weekend?
Sadly, however, it might rain this week. The UAE National Center of Meteorology is predicting a run of rain and dust storms starting today that could last most of next week.
Which means the shamal could run into our 5-day National Day celebrations which start on Wednesday, December 2.
Some reports have indicated that it might be some of the heaviest rainfall in the UAE this year. Which is saying something considering the downpours we had in January and February!
The weather is also set to be unsettled this coming weekend, with some rain expected in parts of the UAE.
The National Centre of Meteorology is also predicting rough seas this weekend, so be careful if you’re out and about on the seas. And be prepared for some strong winds blowing in your face if you’re at the beach!
