UAE influencer Rashed Saif Belhasa is stepping into the ring for Social Knockout, the world’s first-ever crypto-currency fight here in Dubai.
Which to be honest, isn’t really a sentence we ever thought we’d have to write.
The Social Knockout pits Emirati influencer Rashed Saif Belhasa AKA Money Kicks will step into the ring soon while Youtube star Adam Saleh will also be donning the gloves for a different fight.
Both will be making their Middle East boxing debut. And both will be taking part in the first global event to purely involve crypto-currency.
There is some boxing and fighting pedigree behind the fight, however.
19-year-old Belhasa will be coached by Tam Khan, a DubaiLAD favourite and renowned MMA coach and promoter. And the event is in collaboration with Dubai Sports Council.
Both boxers have started training and launched the event with a press conference yesterday where we caught up with Belhasa.
And the promoters of the fight are looking to replicate the hype that surrounded recent fights involving Logan Paul.
“Rashed is young, enthusiastic, and full of energy. His boxing is improving exponentially every day; he is talented and I’m sure he will give his fans a great show,” said Tam Khan, CEO of “Social Knockout.”
There will also be live entertainment on the fight night in Dubai – which is yet to be scheduled – including sets from Fat Joe, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Guru Randhawa.
