Some huge news for the UAE as the country is launching a multiple-entry tourist visa that’s open to all nationalities.
The UAE Cabinet approved the move this morning which is aimed at making travelling to the UAE even easier.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai announced the news via Twitter.
The new UAE Tourist visa lasts for five years and lets tourists enter multiple times. Each visit can last up to 90 days and can then be extended for another 90 days.
The other big news from the Cabinet meeting was the Remote work Visa. The one-year visa allows foreigners to enter the UAE under self-sponsorship and work in the UAE. It’s the first of the kind in the region and aims to boost the UAE’s tourism sector and support the national economy.
Sheikh Mohammed announces Golden Visa for PhD holders, doctors, engineers and more
The news follows the announcement late last year that the UAE was launching a Golden Visa.
The Golden Visa lasts for 10 years and is open to PhD holders in the country as well as Doctors, engineers and more.
Which is all great news for those workers in the UAE. And for everyone else as well, as it will help attract some of the best and most talented people in the world to the country.
Now we just need to start thinking of what PhD the DubaiLAD team are going to tackle. Is there a shwarma-eating PhD? If not, there definitely should be!
