UAE opens up Coronavirus testing for all citizens

The UAE is already leading the way when it comes to mass-testing, and it’s now opening up their Coronavirus testing for all residents and citizens that need it.

In the last day alone, the country has performed over 25,000 tests with 484 new infections. And there are now plans underway to give all residents in need access to Coronavirus testing according to Bloomberg.

UAE leading the way

The UAE is one of the biggest testers in the world. It’s currently the 4th biggest Coronavirus testing nation according to the Worldometers site.

And it’s been leading the way with innovative ways to test.

There are now dozens of drive-through centres across the UAE. They’ve also set up a home-testing service for people with disabilities. And they’ve also screened more than 50,000 blue-collar workers.

And they’ve established a huge testing laboratory alongside BGI and Abu Dhabi company G42 which will help in its mission to test all UAE residents for Coronavirus.

Total coronavirus cases are now at 7,755, including 46 deaths.
