The UAE has announced that it will once again issue tourist visas to all travellers as long as they have been fully vaccinated.
The news was announced by the UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).
The decision applies to all citizens worldwide.

Travellers to the UAE will need to have been fully vaccinated with one of the World Health Organisation (WHO)-approved COVID-19 vaccines.
The list of accepted vaccines includes Covishield, Johnson & Johnson (also known as Janssen), Moderna, Oxford-AstraZeneca, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, and Sinovac-CoronaVac.
And they’ll still need to take a mandatory PCR test on arrival.
The tourist visa will then be valid for either 30 or 90 days.
And the new rules come into effect from tomorrow.
Travellers are also advised to register their vaccination via the ICA platform or Al Hosn application. This will give them the full benefits provided to UAE residents.
