For the eighth year running, the UAE occupies the top spot as the best country to live in for young Arabs, according this year’s Arab Youth Survey findings.

UAE remains the best country for Arab youth

An overwhelming 44% of young Arabs voted the UAE as their most desirable city. What’s interesting is the UAE leads the ranks by a phenomenal margin, as Canada gets 22% votes at the second position, the US in third position with 21% votes, Turkey ranked fourth with 17% votes and the UK at number five with 15% votes.

Safety, work opportunities and education among top reasons

As per the survey report, the UAE makes an ideal country for young Arabs due to a variety of reasons. This includes work opportunities (38%), safety and security (36%), generous salary packages (30%), raising a family (22%), high-quality education system (20%) and a welcoming place for expatriates. (20%).

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, took to Twitter to share a welcoming message with the Arab youth, saying the UAE “will always be your country.” He said, “For the 8th year, the Arab youth finds the UAE the best place to work & live in, followed by Canada, the US and Britain. My message to them is the UAE was & will always be your country, a part of a beautiful Arab world that will continue prospering with your energy & aspirations.”
