UAE will now accept international vaccine certificates

The UAE Government has announced international vaccination certificates will now be accepted in the UAE.

People can now register their vaccines if they were given abroad. And the list of approved vaccines includes AstraZeneca (or Covishield), Moderna, Pfizer, Sputnik and Sinopharm.

You can register your international certificates using the ICA app or website from August 15. It will then automatically update the Al Hosn App.

This should make travel into the UAE a lot easier and quicker for those who had their vaccines abroad.

And the new process will make travel to Abu Dhabi a lot easier where only people who have been vaccinated will be allowed into public areas.
