Residents in Deira and Qusais areas will have to find another hang out spot for the next two months because there’s a popular beach nearby that has been temporarily closed.
Mamzar beach has been temporarily closed
For the next two months, the Dubai Municipality team will be working on the Mamzar beach chalets and its maintenance. They said, “We apologize for the inconvenience caused in closing Chalets in Al Mamzar Park from 16/07/2018 for two consecutive months due to maintenance and to improve our provided service.”
Don’t panic! There are plenty of other options
Besides Mamzar beach, the most nearby location is Pearl Jumeirah. Perhaps, the best option for beachgoers is Jumeirah beach unquestionably, also home to Dubai’s freshest hangout spot, La Mer. What’s more, Dubai has got three beaches in JBR, Al Sufouh and Kite beach and for those who prefer driving far, Abu Dhabi has the corniche, Bateen, Saadiyat and Yas beach whilst Kalba, Dadna, loulou are some of the best beaches in the northern emirates.
No stopping to the scorching heat this summer
With the summer season going on, it’s perhaps the best time to head to the beach for those looking to relax or to get a tan. According to weather forecast website Accuweather, the temperature will range between 37°-42° Celcius this summer. Another ideal time to head to the beach is during sunsets to witness picturesque views of the sky with its colours changing in blue, orange, pink, red and so on.
