Car-related violations like illegal street racing and drifting have been one of the most common problems in the crazy car culture in the Arab World and a new video by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department(ADJD) calls for car owners to be extra careful with their cars.
Video shows how your car can get stolen
Released on ADJD’s Twitter handle, the video shows a woman stopping by in front of a cafeteria at a petrol pump, leaving her child and the car’s engine on as she went to place an order. Within that time, a thief rushed into the car and immediately left the petrol pump. The thief speeded his car and crossed a signal on the red light until a car on his left ended colliding him.
Car theft video was released ahead of the recent crime in Ajman
Yesterday, two Arab brothers were caught by Ajman Police cops for stealing vehicles and earning money by selling their spare parts. The duo went on to reveal they’ve been into this sort of crime since a while and have stolen five cars in the past. They were caught after an Asian man’s company car was stolen at a residential parking lot even though it was locked.

Recently a car theft worth Dhs1.5 million was caught
Few months ago, a video was posted on YouTube how Dubai Police caught a gang stealing Dhs1.5 million from a car in Abu Dhabi and didn’t take long to go viral across social media. The video showed a gang stealing a bag with the money in the passenger seat of a Bentley vehicle while it was unlocked and it took the Dubai Police team just 12 minutes to catch the gang at Al Wasl street after being alerted.
