Young volunteers handing out iftar meals to motorists had no idea who would show up to receive their iftar meal and it left them with absolute joy.
Sheikh Mohammed received the meal
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai and Vice President of UAE was on the same road as the volunteers in his famous vehicle, Mercedes G55, accompanied with a van and a sedan on the road with moving traffic. Five volunteers headed to his car to greet the Ruler and hand him an iftar meal.
Al Ihsan Charity Association is the team behind distributing iftar meals
Part of their Ramadan Aman campaign, Al Ihsan Charity Organization is distributing one million iftar meals and has set up 14 Ramadan tents in industrial areas across the country. Alongside, they’re distributing coupons worth 500 dhs to 5,000 families and work closely with financial sponsorships for families and orphans.
Sheikh Mohammed has performed similar generous moves before
Last month, the Vice President made a generous move by responding to an Emirati’s request for supporting his family by providing him with a house, a job and a Dhs 11 billion fund assisting low-income Emiratis. He helped a group of residents stuck at the Al Qudra desert by towing them out and providing them with water earlier this year.
