Vlogger becomes the first tourist to stay overnight on World Islands

A popular Youtube vlogger has become the first tourist to stay overnight on the World Islands in the South American Coronation Island.

The 18-minute video from Thomas Bragg of the Yes Theory showcases the villas at the Seven Tides International development. And he gets to stay overnight in one of the stunning villas, with his own chef and his own pool with amazing views back towards Dubai.

As well as getting to stay the night in one of the luxurious villas, he also explores the history of the World Islands.

“When I came out to Dubai to try and make a video about the world islands, I was not expecting to arrive at something that’s this built out,” he says in the video.

“I was totally expecting to make a video about empty islands off the coast of Dubai.”

“It’s funny because you can still see there’s like some construction material just on the floor, and then you turn around and it’s just like an absolutely luxurious villa right here with its own pool.”

And he gets an exclusive bit of content when he meets up with Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the Group Chairman and CEO of DP World at the end of the video.

The Coronation Island development including a hotel and villas to rent will “hopefully open in December.”

The Chairman also reveals that the island will be largely self-sufficient with intense water and waste recycling.

Christmas Day on your own private island sounds pretty sweet to the DubaiLAD team, to be honest!
