BMXer Kris Kyle, a protege of Red Bull’s daredevil stuntman team, is pushing the boundaries, taking over Dubai’s landmarks in an adrenaline-filled video released last week.
Having been on the stunt scene for more than a decade, Kriss Kyle headed to Dubai to roam around the city, plummeting across its landmarks in a five-minute-long video of pure adrenaline. He’s shown dropping in at Burj Al Arab’s helipad and making his way across tourist hotspots like Wild Wadi waterpark, Jumeirah Beach, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame, Al Fahidi Souk and Laguna waterpark.
Daring act despite fear of heights
As much as we’re surprised by the stunts Kyle manages to pull off, the Scottish BMXer admitted he’s afraid of heights and had to “program” his body to make the stunts possible. In an interview with Red Bull, he said, “The whole of last year I was excited, but sweating a bit about it. I’m scared of heights, which isn’t something a lot of people know about me, and because I’d waited all year, I psyched myself up. I had to program my whole body for it. It’s amazing what the human body can do, because I’m so scared of heights. Before flying out, and even on the plane, I kept saying to myself, ‘I’m doing this. No matter what, I’m definitely doing this’.”

Not the first time Red Bull has tested the boundaries
Let’s just say that Red Bull is taking the stunt game to new heights, with Dubai as one of their popular playgrounds. The last time they pulled off a high-octane stunt was to celebrate Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s champion, David Coulthard’s F1 victory in 2013. To celebrate, they had the champion racer perform donuts at Burj Al Arab’s helipad, at a height of 210 m (689 ft) above ground. Check it out:
