‘Scream Above The Sounds’ is their latest album

Marking 20 years since the band was formed, ‘Scream Above The Sounds’ has met with positive reviews by music websites like Amazon(4.7/5) and Clash Music(7.5/10), which termed ‘What’s All The Fuss About?’ and ‘Caught by the Wind’ as their standout tracks. Four music videos were released so far, ‘Before Anyone Knew Our Name’ was their latest one.

‘Dakota’ was their most successful song

Regarded as their greatest hit ever, the song was released in 2005 and peaked at no. 1 at the UK Singles Chart and on no. 34 at the US Modern Rock Tracks Chart. Songs like ‘Maybe Tomorrow’ and ‘Local Boy on the Photograph’ were praised too for its tunes and lyrics.

Plan B will be headlining the concert too

Versatile hip-hop artist and actor Plan B will be performing at the concert too. The artist has been prominent in the British music scene since his first album ‘Who Needs Action When You Got Words’ in 2006. The album peaked at no. 30 at the UK Albums Chart as was listed in the ‘100 Best Albums’ from Q Magazine that year. Last year, he released ‘In The Name of Man’, his first single in five years, part of his new album ‘Heaven Before All Hell Breaks Loose’, which released recently.

Local bands will be performing too

Prior to Stereophonics’ performance, attendees can enjoy performances by Dubai based duo Jaye and Foe performing with acoustic folk-rock singer Abbo as well as 19-year-old resident singer, songwriter and producer Aman.
