If there’s one thing that kept us sane and happy over the last year, it’s been the nightly delivery of chicken wings. Pair it with a Netflix subscription and ultra-fast broadband and you have your pandemic starter pack right there.
And we quickly discovered that if you’re going to do chicken wings, they need to be from the house of wings AKA Wingo.
Since launching in 2019,Wingo has become one of the city’s best-loved chicken wings – thanks in part, we like to think, to our regular orders.
Where most chicken wings go heavy on the sauces to get the flavours in there, Wingo like to do things differently and take a double flavour approach.
They focus on the flavour of the chicken first and foremost, making sure they’re moist on the inside, crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned.
They then go to town on the sauces with seven – yes, seven! – to choose from.
These include Brooklyn BBQ, Chili Garlic Szechuan, Citrus Teriyaki, Sweet Chili Pineapple, Toasted Garlic Aioli, Blue Cheese and Sweetheart Sauce.
It’s no surprise then that Wingo has grown in just two years to now have seven branches across the Dubai. Meaning you can be just likeDubaiLAD and get your nightly Wingo fix from Dubai Marina, Al Barsha, Business Bay, Al Raffa, Al Warqa, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Diera. And hold tight, Sharjah, as they’re launching with you very soon!
Should you not like wings (and we can barely type that sentence, so appalled are we that someone might not like wings), they have a killer selection of hot dogs and chicken strips.
But let’s be honest – it’s all about the wings which come in 6, 12 and 18 pieces including wingette and drumette options.
Or the DubaiLAD option which is a repeat order every night for 18 drumettes with dealer’s choice of sauces.
