With Dubai on Coronavirus restrictions, the animals have started taking over Dubai Mall!

Dubai’s residents might be staying indoors due to the Coronavirus, but the animals aren’t playing along at Dubai Mall and the Dubai Aquarium.

OK, OK – so that headline is a bit clickbaity. But look, we’ve rescued that by showing you this ultra-cute video below where some adorable animals roam around Dubai Mall and the Aquarium.

The stunt hedgehog, iguana and parrot are captured roaming around Dubai Mall, Kidzania and the Aquarium. And, they’re definitely social distancing which is great to see. And just to clarify, yes: Dubai Mall and the Aquarium are still closed. And no: we don’t know how they got online to get their travel permits.

Animals reclaiming Dubai

Aside from these animals at Dubai Mall, animals are slowly reclaiming Dubai during the Coronavirus pandemic. That’s actually true.

First there were these gazelles spotted out near Jebel Ali. Just, y’know, being gazelles and gazelling around the place.

And then we heard about these geese on the rampage! Well, politely crossing the road, actually.
