Some of the world’s biggest DJs including Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez, Amelie Lens and Pete Tong are joining forces to raise money to help rebuild Beirut following the shocking explosions last month.

Over 100 international DJs and artists will live-stream their sets across various virtual stages.

The organisers are hoping to raise $500,000 for three specific organisations. These include the Beirut Emergency Fund, Impact Lebanon and Bew’shebbek. The damage to the country has been estimated at $15 billion and left hundreds injured and without homes.

The event is a collaboration between Electronic Labor Day and Beatport and starts at 2 pm Beirut time on Sunday. The 12-hour live stream will start with a minute’s silence to honour those killed or hurt during the Beirut blasts.

The stream will then run until 2am and feature a host of names including Danny Tenaglia, Skream, Luciano, Nastia and fast-rising Palestinian DJ Sama.

You can donate to the fund raising event here. And you can stream the event live via the ELD website, Beatport Twitch and the ELD Facebook Page.
