Electric vehicle (EV) mogul Tesla has plans for rolling out the compact Model 3 in the UAE and they’re asking for a deposit of Dhs 10,000 to book the car.

By far, Model 3 is the most compact and economical vehicle among Tesla’s offerings. It’s packed with 258 horsepower and capable of producing 317 lb-ft. That’s more than the likes of the Audi TT, Volkswagen Golf GTI and Nissan Maxima. Despite its pricing between Dhs 1590,000-215,000, buyers have to pay a staggering Dhs 10,000 deposit.
Model 3 cars set to arrive in UAE next year
Buyers can get their hands on the EV by ‘early 2020,’ while bookings are currently open. Meanwhile Tesla’s $2 billion gigafactory in Shanghai is set to be ready by April next year.
