Sheikh Hamdan, the Crown Prince of Dubai has once again been doing his extreme best to showcase Dubai by sitting on top of Ain Dubai drinking coffee.
At 250m high, Ain Dubai towers over the Marina end of the city. But the Crown Prince isn’t displaying any nerves as he casually drinks a cup of coffee while sitting atop one of the 48 capsules.
Naturally, the post of his sitting on top of Ain Dubai on Instagram has gone viral, like many of the things the Crown Prince does!
Ain Dubai opened yesterday and is the world’s largest and tallest observation wheel with incredible views across the city.
The Blueswater structure was built with 9,000 tonnes of steel. Which is 25% more than was used to build the Eiffel Tower. In total, there is 2,400km of steel cables in Ain Dubai. Which would stretch from Dubai to Cairo if laid end-to-end.
Each trip will take 38 minutes. Meaning you have nearly an hour to take in the views across the city!
There are 48 capsules and each capsule can hold 30 people. Which means Ain Dubai can carry up to 1,400 people each rotation.
