Four years since Lebanon Island opened
Since its public opening in 2014, the island has been a destination for ‘corporate parties’ according to The National (https://bit.ly/2NksMsE). Based on reviews by websites like Get Your Guide and TripAdvisor, some users call it a “paradise” and “brilliant” for its entertainment offerings and views, whilst some call it a “disappointment” and say that there “isn’t much to see.”
Lindsay Lohan had plans of purchasing Lebanon Island
Not many know that Lohan is also a businesswoman, owning a nightclub and a beach club in Athens. In an interview with Wendy Williams on her talk show ‘The Wendy Williams Show’, she revealed “I’m discussing designing an island in Dubai, with The World Islands. I have a lot of little projects there because I like to keep myself busy”. However, there hasn’t been any news about her purchase ever since.
Heart of Europe project in progress at The World Islands
Since ‘The Heart of Europe’ project has started its development, there’s been a positive impact on Lebanon Island, as it’s able to attract additional interest from individuals and parties. According to The National, ‘The Heart of Europe’ is an upcoming Dhs7 billion investment project on six islands that will include the world’s first “climate-controlled streets” including “rain and snow.”
