Dubai is now home to the YouTube Space hub for hosting workshops, trainings as well as world class production facilities for content creators based in UAE and in the MENA region.
Dubai is the 10th city have a YouTube space hub.
Adding to the list of cosmopolitan cities Berlin, London, Los Angeles, Mumbai, New York, Paris, Rio de Janerio, Tokyo and Toronto, Dubai is now the latest home for YouTube space. Paris was the first city to have a YouTube space hub and it’s the only hub where visitors can buy YouTube merchandise in addition to attending workshops, avail production facilities as well.
Facilities will be available to creators with 10,000+ subscribers.
Youtubers with a following of 10,000 and above will have access to production facilities, workshops and networking events for free. Whereas, Youtubers with a following of between 1,000 to 10,000 can attend workshops and networking events for free.
Middle East has a strong creator community.
As of now, there are more than 200 YouTube channels with a following of 1 million+ while there are 30,000 channels with a following of 10,000+. These statistics reflect on the MENA region with high potential of video consumption and a wide target market.
